Eleven years old today - Happy Birthday Rochelle

I know I posted this before but I wanted her to have a photo for her birthday and I didn't have time to do one before school. Maybe tonight. I've written so much about my beautiful Rochelle I don't need to add much here.

She is special. All kids are of course but her spirit is a joy to behold.

Loving, kind, funny, empathic, and sometimes a holy terror just like all kids. Not often though. Rochelle is a delight.

She sings, she dances, she has a great sense of direction (which I don't), she helps, she cuddles. she hugs. She loves animals, flowers, music, cars, drawing, reading, and mother nature. And she tries hard.

She's shy but when she warms up to someone, they have a friend for life.

Happy Birthday, sweetie. If you read this sometime, you'll know how much we all love you and how proud we are of our middle kid. Posted by Picasa

She looks delightfully goofy, Ann. That combined with all these nice things you write about her- she must be a real pleasure to know! Happy Birthday!

I too am a middle child. They are often overlooked, and I'm thrilled that Rochelle is so special to you.

Happy Birthday Rochelle!

dear granny,

thank you for your comment on my site...i have now read some of yours, and wanted to say that your kids and grandkids, too, are blessed to have you! and you, them. if i have learned one thing in twenty eight years, it is that family is the most important thing, and the most divine of gifts! your blog is great!

Happy birthday Rochelle. At your age I liked many of activities you like except I didn't dance too often.
We didn’t have a piano like you, do you like playing some notes and are you thinking of learning how to play?

Best (warm –literally) wishes from down under.

I expect you now know from Gran where Australia is as on the globe. We are underneath!!

Rochelle is indeed beautiful, and it sounds as though she has beauty both inside her and out, which makes her very special indeed.

Happy Birthday Rochelle. I hope you have a wonderful day, and I hope you realise quite how proud of you your Gran is.

Love to all, Ann. :-)

Rochelle double birthday this year,
Have a happy day and many happy returns!

I am sorry to be late :>)

I put a map of the world on my sidebar at the bottom, perhaps Granny could have one to tell where all the lovely visitors come from.

Happy birthday Rochells and many, many happy returns
