You can tell when I'm feeling better

I'm back to thinking about food. Katie, an Oregonian who writes a blog of her experiences in Turkey, has introduced me to a dish called "manti". Rather than reprint the recipe here, I'm including the link to her blog. I thought she was on the blogroll but I missed her somehow.

She has lovely photos of food and scenery along with a link to the recipe.

Clicking on the title should take you there.

Thank you Katie.

A couple years ago I had a turkish roomate who came to Canada to learn English, While he was living with us, he showed us quite a few yummy dishes and deserts...Don't think I could ever recreate them the same way

My mind turns to food only when I am alone or with someone and it is worse when I am awake. ec

it's funny, when the mood lifts, and some of the usual things begin to swirl about in our heads...

Im so glad you stopped by my blog! I did not know SPAM had a cousin?! I am a bit envious of your memories...hubby and I always joke we were born just 40 years too late. We are both in our 30s. We both love swing dance, listening to big band (Glenn Miller, Dorsey, Ella, Louis Prima and Sinatra). We collect antiques and anything from the 1940s and 1950s. Although, I wouldn't be fond of having to ask a druggist for a little brown package every month..hehe.
