Rochelle At Her Finest

I started to title this "Before and After" but the pics are reversed. Do yours ever do anything quite this silly? She mashed her face against the camera to get that shot and one more almost like it. I wasn't going to post it but she thinks it's a great idea so here it is. I told a friend (to whom I emailed the photo) that we used to tell our kids their eyes would get stuck like that. They didn't believe us of course.

The greatest advantage to a digital camera (and there are many) is not having to scold about wasting film. They can have fun and they certainly did.

I'm not sure if one can suffer jet lag from driving but I did almost nothing today except clear a little space from all the baggage. I once again arrived with much more than I took. How do we manage to do that? I erased almost all of my news and political email. By then I had heard most of it one place or another.

Thanks for all the comments and email. Those, I keep.

Girls are all in bed a little ahead of time, routine stuff done, and I may try for an early night as well.

Talk to you all later.

B'yoodeefull!

Sometimes I wonder if I'll ever get another picture of Runner-Bean without his face all contorted. And it's such a nice face, too!

I love pictures like this, they are also sometimes great for future blackmail use against the child in the picture. Although, frankly I was never one to have those kind of regrets myself. Maybe Rochelle is the same.

I am starting to comment here and now will go back to the last entry that I didn't read from long ago and start commenting!

Ahhhh ... I remember having a few photos like that. They're the kind that seem silly and cool NOW, but when you get older and more dignified, you curse yourself for ever letting them surface! :D

I am good at travelling and going home with more stuff than what I left with. Actually, it seems my whole family is good at it.

Maybe it's genetic?

Mike likes pulling silly faces and having his picture taken - I used to think it must be a guy thing, but apparently it isn't. ;-)

Hey Ann, sent you an email; should be working fine now.

Sorry I haven't checked in on you till now. Feeling pretty bad; my gums on the right hand side of my mouth are hurting like crazy.

Talk to you soon.

I love being able to give my daughter the camera and have her take photos. It is one of the best parts of digital cameras. We then put them on the computer as a slide show. She is so proud and the view of a 4 year old is so cool.

I, too, love the silly pics. So cute!

Thanks for the empathy on the allergies, Ann. I'll blog about our allergist experience after tomorrow, when Anthony has his appointment.

Wow, I don't pop over for a few days and I miss a ton! Look like you guys had a great trip!

The silly faces...yes, we have tons of pics like that. I do remember my mother telling me that my face would stick like that, but it never did ;)

Thats a funny picture. Driving always wipes me out- always. If I am a passenger, I usually pass out! Glad you're well!

What I used to hear was 'I hope your face doesn't freeze that way'. :) The young ones can give us precious gifts of the images of the moment. ec

I don't have a Digital Camera but I have a webcamera so I don't have to worry about film either! It's great.

Jeremy and my nephew have a great time making faces and would probably play for hours with my webcam if I let them. Some of Jeremy's are hilarious.
