More on Hats - Purple This Time Update)

One of our friends just sent me this in an email. Update: The friend is Lady Jan who emailed me. I'm never too sure of blog etiquette. I borrow from other blogs all the time (with credit to the blogger) but I'm not so sure about something sent by email. Anyhow, she says fine.

If you haven't visited her, I' think you'll enjoy it.

That's fantastic. I'm forwarding the link to this post to my mom, who will also love it.

Thanks for visiting and commenting the other day - *much* appreciated!

It is so true that it takes us so many years to learn to like ourselves and just enjoy life. ec

Hi Ann,

Thank you for posting the purple hat--if we as women can all just learn to like ourselves the way we are sooner--the sooner we can step out and conquer the world. Or at least have fun!

I have seen this before (like almost everything these days, it seems..), it is great .. thank you for reminding me of it. And thank you too for being there .. or here, I suppose. The thing is - I am a ‘new’ granny .. in all sorts of ways .. my one and only grandaughter has just turned two, I turn 61 later this month, and I have created a new web space so that I can join the other ‘grannies’ on the net. I am looking forward to having a really good time .. having a search around the bloggers to see who I might find, and found you here.

If anybody reading this has time .. please visit my webspace and make contact. It is VERY new, so I will appreciate comments - this is my first approach to a link outside of my immediate circle, who have been ‘beta’ testing bits and pieces for me. I have created a blog, and have set up a forum, and am looking for stories and pictures and things for my Memory Lane page. And links to other places and things of interest, like the old-style webrings used to be. Remember them?.

Granny, can I please add your blog link to mine? please forgive if this is not the correct way to ask - very much on a learning curve here ..
