I spoke too soon about Ray doing better. It may have been like talking about a no hitter in baseball. Just don't do it. The Giants announcer learned that tonight.
He's back in the hospital again. He's had some dizziness and two actual fainting spells (when I wasn't around to see them). We called his primary physician today after he told me aout the second one two days after it happened. He didn't want to worry me, he said.
Men.
So they're running tests again. His doctor doesn't know what it is; he's an internist but I imagine by tomorrow they'll have the neurologists involved. He's in the CCU just as a precaution.
Other than that Rochelle and Rebecca stayed busy all day and Elcie hung out here. She has an email correspondent now and is learning how to manage all her mail (one). I made her a folder for it.
And I'm trying to get them off to bed in their own beds tonight. They're cranky and overtired. And so am I (as well as worried).
I took Ray to the doctor around 1, picked him up at 3, took him to the hospital at 4, took R & R to VBS at the part at 5, and stopped at KFC and picked up chicken. No cooking or much of anything else tonight.
I'm making a correction to the previous post (about identity theft, etc.) Regardless of what the attorney said about not signing your credit card, you may be required to in order to use it. I don't know enough about it and I've always signed all one of mine. There are differences of opinion on it and I'll go back in and say so.
That being said, I'm glad the list was useful.
We have new visitors. Desert Darlyn has been here once before and I missed her that time. She lives in Arizona with her husband and three very cute dogs. Check out her recent post on menopause if you have a chance.
Jenny, a new mom from Texas. Don't be confused by the link. She shares a blog in the Houston Chronicle.
anonymous, the writer of The June Cleaver Diaries who is the mom of a pre-schooler and toddler twins. Ouch.
Kristen who writes Home on the Fringe along with her husband John. She has a couple of cute boys.
I skipped a couple other commenters on the Father's Day post and I'll try to get to them tomorrow. The links are getting a little blurry.
Molly - Giants squeaked through 2-1.
Take care everyone. Tomorrow will be a less whiny day.

sure thinking of you all... sending lots of love and prayer your way!
Oh man.... sorry to hear that. My good thoughts are with you. Lots of love,
-Misty
Things usually happen like that don't they. Tempting the fates or something. :) I hope Ray gets better and is back home soon.
I am really tired myself. Been gone all day but I just *had* to write in my blog and of course check email, which reminded me I hadn't checked bloglines in awhile...
Talk to you soon.
I'll be thinking of you and Ray. Hopefully the Dr.'s will get him straightened out quickly.
My Dad has "Check ID" written on the back of all his credit cards. It sounds like a good idea, but it doesn't seem to make much of a difference these days. Last time I was home I used one to fill the truck with gas, and since I paid at the pump no one saw the card anyway. No one would see it if you used the swipey thing at Wal-Mart, either...
Sucks about Ray. Good thoughts...
I know from working retail for years, that even if someone looks at the card, it is RARE that they will challenge it if it's different. They aren't always trained to.
Sometimes I do think biometrics are the answer.
Hope Ray gets better soon.
I know about the tired winy days my self. Thesedays have been unbelievably hectic at work, but I try blog to relax.
The hospital game game sucks. When my mom was going through I found a book called 'Time on Fire'. This is an actor's story about leukemia and chemo, different than Ray's, but the insight on hopsitals and some of his tidbits of info or very good. The author was on Sex in the City, he was Charlotte's husband.
I will be thinking good thoughts for you.
Dear Ann ~~ I am so sorry that Ray is sick again and do hope that he soon gets well again. My thoughts are with you both. The Identity Theft post was good-
full of good advice. I haven't been able to get on the net tonight until a little while ago. So I hope Blogger is on the ball tonight, with no more problems.
Take care Ann. Loving thoughts, Merle.
sorry to hear about Ray again. hope they can figure out what is going on with him.
big hugs to you and my thoughts are with Ray, You and your family.
I hope Ray gets better soon!!
~~hugs~~
also I have always signed check ID on the cards I used to have and had no problem with it...I don't any more other than a debit card from my bank and I want to keep it that way.
:-D
Praying for Ray..
I'm sorry Ray is ill. We'll keep him in our thoughts. I hope the doctors can find out what is wrong.
Hugs! Will keep Ray in my thoughts. Hope he's on the mend quickly.
Ann,
So sorry to hear about Ray. Sending prayers your way...
What is a blog if not a place to whine?
And that, my friend, is extremely whine-worthy.
Hugs and good thoughts being sent northerly.
I'm so sorry to hear that Ray is under the weather again.
Sounds like you had a very full day and I hope that you were able to get some rest.
Ava
Oh dear. I'm so sorry to hear about Ray. You'll be in my thoughts and I hope he feels better very soon.
Oh man, I am so sorry to hear about Ray. What a worry for you. KFC sounds like a great choice for a stressful day. Hopefully the girls are enjoying VBS, that will keep them busy and happy and be one less worry for you. You guys are in my prayers.

Sorry to hear about Ray being sick again - we were gone to the beach all last week. Trying to get back into the swing of things. ec
nothing to add Ann... just sending you (and Ray) a big HUG (((((((((((Ann))))))))))
(((((((((((Ray))))))))))
OH MAN.
I'm thinking about you and Ray and the girls. Dang it!
I was going to leave a comment letting you know that I saw you added to your banner and included your hubby, but that seems pretty petty now.
Please let us know how Ray's doing.
Best,
Andie D.
Sorry about your husband being in the hospital.
Please keep us all informed>
Best of luck to him and you!
Junie
So sorry to hear Ray is in the hospital. I just finished reading your father's day post and was very touched by it - you got one of the good ones.
Positive thoughts and prayers going your way.
I'm sending you and Ray good thoughts. Please keep us posted.
Hi Ann,
Oh, I am so sorry to hear about Ray! I hope the doctors can figure it out this time.
Your still in my prayers.
Janice~
Your family will be in our prayers. Hope all is better and there are answers quickly.
I'm with you about the men not wanting to worry you when there's something wrong. YEARS AGO.....Matt and I lived together for quite a while before we got married. I came home from work one night and found a note on the door that he'd gone to the drugstore. Liar. Turned out he drove himself to the ER instead. I worried all night about why he didn't come home. Eventually he called and told me that he was in the hospital and they were "running tests" and he'd call me again later. Again...liar! He was actually being wheeled in to get his appendix out. I found out he was in surgery when his employeer called me to see how he was doing. Ugh! He thought that "having tests" would worry me less than telling him he was in surgery. Hello! Having your appendix out is pretty common surgery and means they know what is wrong. "Having tests" means they don't even know what's wrong with you yet! UGH! I'd have been far less worried if he'd just told me the truth instead of trying to "protect" me from being worried.
