Today Is Love Thursday

At least according to Chookoolonks.

I'm a little late; one of the problems with living on the left coast of the USA but here's my contribution.

13 year old Elcie with Dipstick who is helping her with mixed fractions. Her hair always looks like that by the time she finishes with her math. I know the feeling.

(Check below for a meme and the resolution of the school bus problem). Rebecca managed to miss the bus leaving her school. She was rescued. More on that later.

My hair looks like that when I do math as well. When I was in grade two (second grade in the States), I was marched down to the principal's office and given the strap for not being able to figure out arithmetic. It really helped. I have a complete phobia about it now... hah.

My hair looks like that when I have been doing housework all day. Maybe I should do math instead?

My hair looks like that when I'm working through something, too. I totally understand.

She missed her bus? That was always one of my greatest fears. That, and accidentally setting off the alarms in the library with my checked-out books. Never happened, though.

Ann, I just wanted to tell you that you're the fresh air of the blog commenting world.

(and I TOTALLY understand the math homework hair!)

I'd like to say my hair looked like that after math, but unfortunately all the algebra is to blame for this balding. LOL

I empathise with Elcie - that takes me right back to my least favourite subject - math, next to science, of course!

Anyway, Dipstick may not be of much help but it looks as if he's having fun!

Funny, that's what my hair looks like when I'm doing math, too. Must be a side effects of free radical numbers.

ha - above comment made me laugh. Cute kitten (I know I say it every time, but really!) Glad to know Rebecca is okay after her bus incident. Must have freaked her out some. And I got 7 right on the grade 8 science. I wish I knew which one was wrong? I think I do though.

Math does the same thing to my hair too!
