When Suffering From the Blahs (or the Blues)

post another joke; this one from Yellow Dog Granny in Texas. (She can make jokes about the Lone Star State, she lives there).

=====

At The University of Texas, students in a psychology program
were attending their first class on Emotional Extremes.

"Just to establish some parameters," said the professor to the
student from Arkansas, "What is the opposite of joy?"

"Sadness," said the student.

"And the opposite of depression?" he asked of the young lady

from Oklahoma.

"Elation," she said.

"And you sir," he said to the young man from Texas, "what about

the opposite of woe?"

The Texan replied, "Sir, I believe that would be 'giddy up "

l lived as a cowgirl in Texas for quite a few years and this joke really made me laugh. :)
Sorry to here you have the blues and that Elcie has been sick. Don't think perhaps your coming down with something yourself? My Mel is on antibiotics and steroids at the moment for her asthma/chest infection. It is definately that time of year again.
I climbed a hillfort today in the pouring rain- it felt terrific and has blown my blues away. Here is sending all of the good to you my friend.

LOL love it! So many people are sick with the flu around here, the walk in clinics are packed every night! I was gone to one last weekend to get a prescription refill and everyone in the waiting room was coughing...if I didn't go in with a cold, I certainly came out with one!!! Hope you're feeling chipper real soon dear Ann!!

Hah. We have a new doctor at work and he's from Texas. Gotta tell him that joke.

I hope you're all feeling better soon.

I accidentally deleted my blog yesterday (arrggghhh) so I now have a new one.

Cheers to you,

Josie
