I'm Back

Stupid Modem. The good news is that is was a Comcast problem and not something I did so I saved $50. The bad news is that I was down for 24 hours. I've become so spoiled.

I'll try to get back later. Meantime I hope Tim's emergency post last night counts as a day. I was on one phone while he was on the other leading him by the hand through signing in as me, typing the short post, and actually posting it.

Thanks Tim. Now you know how to start your own Blog.

hehe. Glad to see you back. I know 24 hours would have me in withdrawals!

In my book, your post counts!

So not your fault that your computer went down.

Oy vey! I know the feeling. It's a shame though. Even though I'm young, I can recall life without a computer (and microwaves and VCRs/DVD players, cell phones, etc.). I can recall my days of learning to use those old macs that had the neon green, blinking cursor and letters that appeared on the screen. And Windows? What was windows back in the early to mid 80's? Anyway, I'm glad you're back.

P.S. I've been wondering, why haven't you been tapped to write for BB? I know that most of the writers are Gen X'ers but you're highly rated and you've been there a while. Not to mention your wisdom and experience not only as a mom and granny but with life in general. I'm curious.

Hello Ann ~ So happy you are back.
Thank you for your comment about the
Teacher story. I thought it was good too
especially for teachers. Hope Ray is doing well. Take care, Love, Merle.

Yay! You are back. Amazing how quickly we have adjusted to the techno age don't ya think? Like you I remember when personal computers didn't exist, much less the internet, and now? Can't do without it!

Hee! For some reason, "stupid modem" made me laugh.

Nice to have a helper, huh?

When we went on vacation, and I only minimally posted, it was HARD to be away from my blog. Sigh.

I can't believe how one get hooked to the computer.
My weekness is blogging.

A quick note...Idaho republicans didn't win as big as they did last time.
I guess maybe their red is starting to fade.
