Somebody Asked About the Cats

I've been trying to get my camera to upload for 2 days now. Finally the light went on. My grandson had borrowed my computer to check out an MP3 player. He unplugged the camera cord to plug in the MP3. Fine, but he didn't plug the camera cord back in. Eureka!!

Anyhow, I walked into the kitchen a couple of mornings ago to find all this. The stripe/swirl is Princess, the little gray kitty who came to visit and never left is nameless but I've been calling her Moonbeam (as in Moonbeam McSwine because she never stops eating). The black and white is our very own Dipstick, (now Josephine - she's another female). She'll always be Dipstick to me. I woke her up taking the picture so I got the awake and asleep shots. She went right back to sleep. I have cushions on three of the four chairs. You can see which chair was left empty. I never said they were stupid.

I wonder if that's cherry pie or cranberry sauce on that one cushion. I'll have to check. Or it may be old magic marker. I've had those same cushions for years and they were from a yard sale to begin with.

Our other cat wasn't around. She's generally much too dignified to consort with kittens or half grown cats.

I've now broken Rule of Blogging #4 (I think) #2 - I checked. Your cats aren't nearly as cute to other people as they are to you. Who makes all these rules anyhow?

Guess I didn't read the rule book of blogging. I lost kitty posts and I always think people are going to enjoy seeing pics of my Vincent.
(they do don't they)??
:-)

Hello Ann ~ I have got behind with reading, get too tires sometimes. Your kitties are nice, and definitely not
stupid. You should ask Santa for more cushions. Glad you liked the Divorce joke enough to post it. Thanks for your comments. Take care Ann, Love, Merle.

The cats look so RELAXED! Post pictures of the cats, your kids, grandkids, great grandkids, your bookshelf, whatever. We'll read and enjoy!

I must say, I think Moonbeam is the prettiest...and I'm not really a cat person, but only because I'm allergic!!!

Kendra

p.s. Grey and Orange cats happen to be the ones I like the best. LOL

The cats were cute enough - but just mentioning cherry pie caught my interest right away. :) And with vanilla ice cream too - my food imagination is cranked up. ec

The grey one (second to bottom pic) looks like my Moose. Your kitty is a lot thinner, though. :)

(I really hate the new Blogger beta...especially the part about logging in right after you've written out an entire post...grrr...)

Who cares about the "Rules". I love reading about you and your doings. As for cats - well, I'm a fan about any cat post or picture and these are so cute, especially that last one of Dipstick, looking to see what's going on.

Keep on blogging, Ann!

Thanks for your emails...

And forget rule number 2. Cat's get an exemption.

I think they're adorable! And I see my kiddos aren't the only ones that change names. Our kitten has gone from being Shelly to Flower and not KitKat. Sigh....
