The 10 days leading up to this celebration have special meaning to my Jewish friends.
Happy Chanukah everyone. May the oil in your vessels never run dry.

Life in transition with Ray but without Rochelle, Rebecca, and Elcie. The blog title is taken from the girls' names but "roc" and "rebel" works for me too.

Just dropped into say hi. I hope your holidays have been good so far. My back went out a few weeks ago and I have been off the blogging trail for awhile. I am getting back on now.
And happy holidays to you, too, Ann. I see that things are ticking along nicely over here and that makes for good reading. I'm still chuckling over the Nine Days of Christmas- thanks for THAT link.
Have you read "I Feel Bad About My Neck and other thoughts on being a woman" by Nora Ephron? I'm quite sure you would enjoy it and laugh a lot so put it on your Christmas list.
Hi Ann
Hope all is well and that Ray and Carole are not doing too badly.
It's a busy time of the year, isn't it? There were plenty of fractious children and harassed mothers at Grand Plaza today. I felt sorry for both.
Take care
Hugs xoxo
Hope all goes smoothly for you and likewise your message to Jewish friends.
Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Blessed Yule and a Rockin' Saturnalia to you and yours! Stay warm, stay bright.
