I Couldn't Resist This One

Merle, I know that you and some of my other Australian friends have seen this but I stole it from Gwen anyhow.

Thanks, Gwen.

(An actual post, complete with a meme, is below)

Eleven people, ten men and one woman, were hanging on a rope under a helicopter.

The rope was not strong enough to carry them all so they decided that one had to leave because otherwise they were all going to fall.

They weren't able to choose that person until the woman gave a very touching speech.

She said that she would voluntarily let go of the rope because, as a woman, she was used to giving up everything for her husband and kids or for men in general.

She added she was used to always making sacrifices with little in return.

As soon as she finished her speech, all the men started clapping.

Hi Ann ~~ This is one of my favorite jokes, I told it to a taxi driver just last week.
Connie from Serious Mumbo Jumbo had awarded me a Nice Matters award and i had to pass it on to 8 others. So I have chosen you to receive it too.
Take great care, Love, Merle.

I'm a couple of days late but thank you for my first smile of the day. :) Seeing as how laughter is the best medicine, you've sent me on my way to migraine recovery. Just need to find a few more sites like yours this morning. Thanks Ann!
