Happy New Year!!
Thanks to the anonymous person who posted this in 2007 on Google Image.
This is short. I spoke too soon about getting through the holidays healthy. Ray and I are both sniffling, coughing, and sneezing and I've been too miserable to do very much.
Other than that, all is well. I've read a few of your posts but haven't commented much. This room is a little chilly and I wanted to get back to warmth and covers.
Ray and I will open our bottle of Martinelli's sparkling cider tomorrow evening and toast the New Year although we may do it a few hours early - I'm not sure I can hold out until midnight.
Have a safe, peaceful, and Happy New Year one and all.

Awww. I am sorry you are feeling under the weather. That stinks. I am chuckling over the "how cold it is where I am comment" though. It is so cold here, we are using our apartment balcony for an extra freezer, I am NOT kidding. The bag of ice is out there. Not thawed. It has been like in the 20's lately. Except today, it got up to like 32! A heatwave!
May you find many blessings, pleasant surprises, and much shalom in 2008, Ann.
You could always do what we've always done - celebrate at 9pm on EST!
Happy New Year!
hope you both are feeling tops soon!!
happy new year... and much much love...
Good Morning Granny,
I'm sorry you and Ray aren't feeling too well. It's probably the change in the weather there. That will surely do it or at least it does around here. "HAPPY NEW YEAR" to you and Ray from our Family. I do hope that 2008 will be a great and wonderful year for you and Ray. We are suppose to be getting a blast of very cold air here later tonight. They say it's the coldest air of the season. Take care my friend and have a great Monday. May God Bless You and Yours.
Love & Hugs,
Karen H.
Happy New Year to you, too! I hope both you and Ray get to feeling better soon!
If it makes you feel any better, I probably won't make it until midnight, either...

New Year is a time for celebration of love, of life, of friendship. It's the time to thank God for wonderful friends, and to bring to their lives as much magic as they bring to ours...so here's celebrating our friendship and praying that its magic continues forever. Happy New Year to you and yours dear Ann! xoxo
Sorry y'all are feeling puny, Ann. Hope you feel better soon!

Hi Ann,
We seem to be fans of some of the same characters so I looked you up on Gary's blog in order to wish you a very Happy New Year. You have a wonderful family album here and I hope you feel better soon so you can enjoy their company.
Have a wonderful 2008
We are usually a little draggy by midnight ourselves - hope you guys have a great New Year! ec
Happy New Year to you and Ray, and may you get over that bug fast. Thank you for being such a wonderful friend. You are a treasure!
Happy New Year to you Ann!! Hope you're feeling better each day that follows.
I hope you are both feeling better! It looks like you had a fabulous Christmas, though!
Happy New Year to you and Ray!
Sorry about the health. That just sucks!! Happy New Year!!
hope you're on the mend.
i didn't realize till after i'd signed your guestbook that it was for public viewing... so much for anonymity on the web. :oP
I've yet to read about anyone who had a rollicking New Years Eve. Mostly I'm hearing about the year being toasted in while wearing pajamas and sitting in front of the fire. That works for me.
Happy New Year Ann and Family!!!
I think that cold/flu has been galloping through this end of the world as well.
Hugs all around!
Dear Ann ~~ I do hope you and Ray are over the colds or whatever by now. I thought I left a comment a couple of days ago. I am sure you missed the girls very much over Christmas, but they seem to be fine. Are they all together? Maybe the sniffles were sent to be a distraction. Take care and look after each other. Now is the time for Ann and Ray. You did such a lot for the girls and they will all
appreciate it later on. Lots of Love Merle.
Hi Ann,
I hope you are feeling better by now. Just before New Years my husband and I got sick with a tummy virus, but we're all better now.
Happy New Year,
Janice~
Have a Happy and Blessed New Year.
Hope you and Ray are getting better by now. Take care. Those chest colds are not easy for us seniors.
I hope you are feeling better by now and Happy New Year!
I have a New Year’s joke -have a laugh~trust your both soon on the mend
A catholic priest at Randwick blessed a particular horse before each race, placed his bet; and observed it subsequently winning on 6 consecutive races. A protestant onlooker became even more impressed when the priests procedure became even more elaborate prior to the 7th final race. The Priest seemed to cover the entire anatomy of the horse.Suitably impressed our protestant friend rushed off to place his bet on the horse.
Subsequently the horse ran last, breaking down afterwards and had to be destroyed.
What happened to your blessing for the horse asked the protestant opportunist?
Its easy to see you’re a protestant replied the Catholic Priest, obviously you can’t tell the difference between a blessing and the last rites
Best wishes
Ann, I hope you and Ray are feeling okay. I just got over the crud myself. I was sick all through Christmas, my birthday and New Year's!!!
Happy New Year.
Good Morning Granny,
I'm just dropping by to see if you are feeling better. Hope you and Ray both are okay. Have you been getting any of those storms that has been going on out there? I hear it's been pretty bad. Take care my friend and have a great day. May God Bless You and Yours.
Love & Hugs,
Karen H.
