From the U. K.

Mollie, by all means add granny to your list. I've already added yours. I loved the cookie making, especially the photos.

More later - trying to get two little ones out door. Rebecca has two birthday presents already. I think I said once before getting them out of her is like herding a convention of cats. Rebecca spent most of the time in bathtub scrubbing black dye out of her her.

Here, for all, is the link to the blog. She has great cookie making photos and she's a very funny CA transplant to England.

what a lovely intro!!! cheers, love...

dinner tonight is going to be pretty flaky... catch as catch can. we had a huge lunch and most of us are still pretty full.. fortunately these guys are old enough to find something edible.. (or just make it themselves...)

we're are experiencing the nicest autumn since we got here, back in '96. yesterday we didn't run the heater, and our little coal fire was kind of superfluous. a little cooler tonight, but no wind and a perfect evening for trick or treating...

which they have here, but on a very limited scale, compared to the US. but in a way that is nice... back to a simplistic halloween.

the popularity has boomed in the years we've been here.. I blame wal-mart. they bought out a UK grocery chain, ASDA, 7 or 8 years ago, and marketing can work wonders...

but our three little pumpkins are out, lit and candy is by the door...

looking forward to hearing more of your family... it sounds like a lively, lovely bunch!! :)))

mollie....
