I thought I was through for the night.

http://www.katiefleck.com/

I've had Katie as an icon on my desktop for a long time and just now realized she's not on the blog roll. She writes Ramblings of a Stay at Home Mother (think I got that right), has five kids including a set of 7 year old twins, and sews. Not just patching a pair of jeans, she really sews.

Her lists of projects are inspiring and a little frightening to a person with two left thumbs like me.

Anyhow, when I dropped in on her tonight, I discovered her twins had just celebrated a birthday (Happy Birthday) and then noticed I was listed on her blogroll. I'm sure she dropped in here when I first started the blog and before I started trying to keep up with people.

If my patient, long suffering blogroll editor (Hi Andrea) could add her (and Sonja and Arwen from the earlier post) sometime, I'd be grateful. Oh, and George Breed who can be found at http://www.blogger.com/profile/12184427 I think that catches it up and I hope it doesn't sink to the bottom again from the weight of the names.

All girls asleep except for my vampire Rochelle who wandered out wearing her pajama shirt inside out and backwards. That's my girl.

I'm stealing recipes again. This from Angel in Florida for all artichoke heart and cheese lovers:

Cheese & Artichoke Bread

Preheat oven 350 degrees
Grease 9 x 13 casserole dish

Ingredients:

1 Package Bridgeford White or Parkerhouse rolls
1/2 Cup Butter, softened
1/2 Cup sour cream
3 Cloves garlic, crushed (Angel and I agree garlic is a good thing and good for you too)
1 Cup cheddar cheese
1/4 Cup grated Parmesan
1 2.25 Oz. can sliced black olives, drained
1 6.5 Oz. jar marinated artichoke hearts, drained

Directions:

Place frozen or thawed rolls in dish. Set aside.
Pat the drained artichokes dry with paper towels. Set aside.
Mix together the butter, sour cream, garlic, cheddar cheese, Parmesan, olives and artichokes. Spread over tops of rolls in pan.
Let rolls rise until double in size and dough fills the pan.

Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven and slice when cooled.
(Doesn't say how long to bake but I bet the directions are on the package of rolls.) I tried to get back to the link to check but couldn't. You can always check it out directly. Angel is on my blogroll.

From Angel - Monday morning

OH! I didn't realize they left off the time on those directions. The recipe says 30-40 minutes, my husband said ours baked for 35 mins. Hope you enjoy them as much as we did--we thought we might add some prosciutto next time

Ipodmomma is baking wonderful things with apples. She is willing to share the recipes or I have them - just let either of us know.

Good night again.

Poppy wears everything backward if she can get it onto her body that way. And she's a vampire, too. Soul sisters?
