And From An In Person Friend

This came in from one of my friends here, naturally via email. Thanks. You know who you are if you ever read this. (she doesn't blog).

Not being skilled, I finally got the pictures on , I'm sure the hard way. Jen sent good advice which worked with one photo but not the other. I finally printed the email, ran it through the scanner, and retyped the poem. Pretend one photo is at the top and the other at the bottom.

I promise I'll get to the Christmas decorations - tomorrow.

I wonder if anyone except me can identify.

Cleaning Poem

I asked the Lord to tell me
Why my house is such a mess.
He asked if I'd been 'putering',
And I had to answer "yes"

He told me to get off my fanny
And tidy up the house.
And so I started cleaning up...
The smudges off my mouse.

I wiped and shined the topside.
That really did the trick...
I was just admiring my work...
I didn't mean to 'click'

But click I did and oops I found
A real absorbing site.
That I got SO way into...
I was into it all night. <>

Nothing's changed except my mouse
It's very, very shiny.
I guess my house will stay a mess..
While I sit here on my hiney.

Nice! A Haiku for you:

Granny lives a life
See, feels, speaks and infects all
With laughs, love and hope.

Mom has had this picture up on her fridge since I met her...

short little lady, hair in a rag, cleaning supplies all over the place, and it reads...

Dull Women Have Immaculate Houses...

says it all....

I keep that in mind when things around here look bad... :))))

lovely pic of Elcie... I keep thinking I see two Jocelyns around here... the little girl and the emerging young woman... very odd!
