I meant to have the photos up last night but I was fighting the computer again. All of a sudden this morning I figured it out.
Ham and beans on stove, Ray still asleep. I have to help Elcie get dressed. We all slept a little late and it's horrid outside so I think no one is going anywhere today.
More later probably. Hope you're all enjoying your day.

Happy New Year! And I'm tagging my favorite Blogging Granny ;)
http://headacheslayer.blogspot.com/2006/01/happy-new-year.html
Sounds like you had a pretty good New Years Party. Wonderful!!!
Best wishes from down under-where we had a few drops of rain -a respite from the heat that thankfully stifled the bushfires from up country where it was 46 C
Up Country- by Dorothea Mackellar
Beyond the yellow levels
The belt of dark belar
That edges the horizon
There is a land afar.
a land of hope and promise,
a land of sweat and toil,
a land of hidden waters,
a warm rich crumbling soil.
The burden of the summer,
That leaves the cracked earth bare,
Yet has no power to stifle
The life that slumbers there.
And when the sky's hard splendour
Has changed to grey again
The cool soft grey of rain clouds
Low-hanging to the plain
Lovely Lindsay - Some of it reminds me of our San Joaquin valley where I live.
really love seeing your clan! that's probably one of my favorite bits about blogging... seeing other's lives, and with pics, you are really 'seeing'...
Happy New Year to you all! I'm stalling, because I should be in taking stuff off the tree...
reading blogs is a wee bit more fun... :)))
A very good day, Granny. We went hiking. Blessings on your family.
