Trip Cancelled - Everyone Still Squabbling

Everything that could go wrong did. Thirty miles down the road I realized we couldn't possibly make it and turned around. Crying. I never do that. I was being a brat. I took the back roads back home instead of the freeway. Much safer when one is upset. I'm just about over it. There will be other parades and I'll plan a little better next time. We still have the Giants game in July and I won't be driving. We've charted a bus.

My San Francisco friend says it's foggy and drizzly there today.

Oh well. On a scale of 1 to 10 this is not even a fraction. It just hit at the end of a very bad week and it was the crowning touch.

End of whine once again. I was already getting comments about the trip so thought I'd explain once instead of 15 times.

Talk to you later.

sorry you didn't get away... but it sounds like it's for the best...

Teddy hates bridges, heights. she's better now, but really doesn't like them...

when she was very little somehow it came about that there were aligators in the car wash. that was a long running thing in our house!

England beat Ecuador 1-0. the later game is Holland and Portugal. England play the winner of that next Saturday...

*hugs* Sorry it didn't work out! I've been around, but have been so busy I just haven't had much time to post anything!

Now that things are settling down somewhat, though, I hope to keep a presence up and going. :)

I am sorry Granny!!! I am more unhappy that it made you cry. Hugs to you!!!
You have every right to whine sometimes, we all need to everyonce and a while. Something tells me you need a Queen day and need to be treated like one by everyone. Wait we all do over here!!!
Love you and hugs again.
One day very soon I hope I can head down there and visit you!!

The better part of valour is knowing when to change the plan!

Sorry Granny! I know that you were looking forward to the trip. It would have been nice to get away.

I know many people who are afraid of the bridges, I'm not at least not too much. But, it's normal especially if you're not used to it. I've never used BART so I can't say anything about that one!!

Like you, I would have cried too with frustration...you certainly didn't need all that after such a bad week! As I said in my email, I want to bring you home with me and make you have a nice relaxing day:-)

Ugh, that's terrible. At least you had a cry that you probably needed, eh?

Sorry to hear about that. Hopefully, your next trip turns out well.

Good for you, for knowing your limits. I am so very sorry that things in your life are so stressful. Praying things get better soon.

Dear Ann ~ I am so sorry you had such a bad day. Maybe the tears would let the girls see how stressed you are. Also a good cry helps sometimes. You have had
such a worrying time, and the heat has been awful. I hope you soon get some coler days, and some better news about Ray. Hang in there Ann ~ you can do it
Take care, Love, Merle.

Hi Ann,

Oh, so sorry about your trip, but maybe it's for the best? You can always get away another time, when things aren't so stressful.
