I wrote this Saturday afternoon and didn't realize it didn't post. Trying again.
Thanks to Diane who lives in Bay, AR and has a wonderful recipe blog. I found her through Kentucky Gal who linked to her chicken and dressing recipe (which turned out to be quite similar to what my mil used to make and what I still turn out once in a while).
My eyes lit up when I saw Bay, AR. I commented to her that I may be her only reader outside of Arkansas who knows exactly where Bay is. It's a few miles down the road from Jonesboro where I lived for eight years. Much smaller than Jonesboro but still a little bigger than Hergett, their next door neighbor. It's up in the northeast corner of Arkansas, close to the Missouri border and maybe 60 miles from Memphis, TN. We used to say that if you accidentally missed something in Hergett, you had to go to Bay to turn around.
Enjoy the recipes. I hope you'll give her a visit. She has lots of them.
I have three girls cleaning house while I "supervise" from here. They're all in disgrace except Elcie for not minding Grandpa when he told them to hold the noise down to a dull roar. Now he gets to hear the vacuum instead. Perhaps they'll listen next time.
And I'm still in my "gown tail" as my mil used to say. I'm afraid if I put clothes on someone will want to go someplace and I did enough driving yesterday. I'm watching Oakland and Seattle play baseball and goofing off for a while.
Talk to you later.

Go Seahawks? Wait, are we talking baseball? Go Mariners! :)
When it's hot out & you don't need to leave the house, it's nice to stay in the jammies.:)
I'm glad you found Diane, she is indeed a wonderful person and she has terrific recipes...I've been copying them all down:-) About time you take time to goof off! lol
Diane is one of my very favorite blog buddies. She has the kindest, most gentle and generous heart in all of blogland. She's a southern lady through and through...
i like to supervise while the kids clean. its nice! i got them cleaning every morning- dishes and sweeping. i have a big, very big, floor area covered by awful wood laminate!
Every black & white cat I've had, have always been male...I've never seen a female. I was beginning to think that they didn't come in female.
It sounds like you have your hands full.
