Let's See What I Can Mess Up Today

I'm grateful to the people who taught me to do a strikot strikeout. I sure needed it yesterday.

If this works, I found a picture which describes my state of mind beautifully. Click on the link.

We're almost back to normal except I woke up feeling rotten and went back to bed for a while. I'm still a little fuzzy so this may be short. Just catching up a little.

Yesterday was rollerskating for Rochelle and Rebecca and pizza for all afterward. We've used up our junk food allotment in three days (not counting Halloween which was last month).

Ray seems to be doing okay. Some of it may be regulating his medication which can only be done in the hospital or so it seems. I have to fill out his absentee ballot and take it over for him to sign and do my own at the same time. Procrastination and I think we have at least 13 Propositions to wade through. I know how I'll be spending tonight after the kids go to bed (or early tomorrow). Don't think I could concentrate on it today. We've already agreed on candidates and we'll agree on the rest once I understand them. Who am I kidding? I never understand them - just make my best guess. I'll be glad to be see Tuesday when we'll be rid of the commercials. It's one of the uglier campaigns I've seen and I'm sick of it.

Josie from Vancouver, who closed down her "Boring Little Blog" (which was anything but) a few days ago is back and can be found at Time After Time. She missed us and I certainly missed her. Welcome back Josie.

I think Rebecca's birthday cake may be tomorrow unless someone else volunteers to bake or I get a sudden burst of energy. I've been up for about 30 minutes now and all I want to do is lie back down.

Tomorrow will be better. I'm not sick, just tired and stressed out. It always passes.

Thanks for the comments and take care everyone.

Hi Ann,
Still keeping up with you.
I always have to offer a silent prayer on the 11th. If it were not for WW1, I and all my family would not be here - wars change lives.
It is also my sons' birthday so cause for some celebration.

If you need to talk you know where I am.

Hello dear Ann...so sorry to hear that you're not feeling up to par, stress will do terrible things to the mind and body! You have so much to take care of, it's no wonder it all catches up with you. Take time to rest and hopefully you'll soon feel all energized...just like the bunny! lol

Hi Ann,
With all you have on your plate, I'm not surprised you're feeling somewhat stressed.
Try to get some rest and I know that's easier said than done..
I will be very glad for this election to be over also. So many annoying phone calls...

Rest. Then rest some more. And then a little more. Then perhaps you'll be better equipped to deal with the stress.

Like I said, rest. :-) The girls are old enough to fix themselves sandwiches for a meal or two.

Oh, one of those days. Blech. Get some rest, maybe some excercise (a walk or a shower always help me, and a walk and then a shower can be the best...)

Hope you're feeling better soon. I have to attack those stupid propositions tomorrow, too. Blech.

I'm going to add my two cents to the above, Ann. Rest - your body needs it and is crying out for it.

Have a lovely refreshing sleep tonight...

Hi P.

You came in as "anonymous blogger" and I can't figure out how to track you back. Can you send me an email?

I feel so dense.

Dear Ann ~ I hope you are feeling better by now. Glad Ray sounds OK just adjusting his medication I hope. Wish I was there to bake that birthday cake for you. Better late than never and Rebecca
will understand. I liked your card, we all get like that sometimes. We are having state elections in Victoria on 18th Nov, and will be glad when that is over. Do hope you got some rest Ann and you will soon be on top of things again.
Love, Merle.

So good to hear that Ray is doing better.

You have orders to rest and get better, too!

I love the picture and know that feeling!!!!!!

I hope you're able to get some rest. I too can't wait to vote in part so that I can stop listening to all of the negative campaigning. Done.

Re: strikethrough. How? Please do share!!

Take care Ann and don't worry about mistakes - I make them all the time and people are kind enough to point them out and I laugh and learn. Today is Bonfire night which I am sour puss enough to abhor. Just call me Scrooge!
And God bless all the young men who laid down their lives

Geez, why would you be stressed dear??? (sarcasm there) Hope you get some time out so you can recoup your nerves.

There was something about Proposition 83 on the radio here the other day. I thought of you, of course. Not that you tend to come to mind when that particular subject comes up, but you're from California, see. My mind works like that (when it actually works, that is).

Sorry to hear that you're stressed. Forget about everything that "has to be done" and focus on you. You need Anne time in order to continue caring for the girls and Ray. If I was nearby I would make the cake for you. You're in my thoughts. Take care.

Hi Ann ~ I hope you are feeling much better by now. I laughed at that card, a representation of a stressful life style at times!!
Best wishes
