Testing #2 Home Videos

Okay, if I did this right, it should be a video of Tim. Update: It did so I'm adding another one, also YouTube.

You understand I'm writing this to myself as in:

Ann: Be sure you enter the description of the video on YouTube first.

Anvilcloud, I overlooked the obvious.

There's supposed to be a direct upload from YouTube to Blogger but I haven't figured it out yet. This is pasting code and not hard. I'll stick with what works for now.

This one is from YouTube. I also signed up with DropShots as Alissa suggested. She's right; it's simple but I had problems copying the extra long url. I'll ask Alissa what she did so at least I'll have choices.

She could be a professional photographer if she chose. She's won awards with her photos of family life.

Fun video! Should there be sound? I don't get sound...

Like I said in my e-mail, I've never had issues with the dropshots url, when I click on the box for the "blog" url it automatically highlights the entire thing for me. Right-click and choose "copy", then paste into the blogger box after you're in the edit html mode. The entire thing will be several lines long, and if you switch back to compose mode it'll look funny. But when you publish the video will be there, I promise...

Well, you're way ahead of me, Ann. However, I don't have a videocam so it's not a problem.

I think I've done well when I can post photographs...not being at all technically minded.

Hope all is well with you and yours.

I enjoyed those. Well done! I wonder why I can never get back to your home page(or anyone's) after watching a video. I get 'close tabs' and back to MY blog.

I hope all is well at your house.
Take care, Love, Merle.

Tell Tim my favorite part was the prancing right before the big jump. You did it Ann! You figure it out. Photobucket also has a video share too.

Well done with the videos, Ann. With the temperatures the way they've been, I wouldn't be surprised if you were living in the pool.

Hi Ann ~ great work with the videos, and interested to hear your enjoying your Californian summer. We have had flooding rains, to offset the effect of the drought in some areas. It is still a land of drought and flooding rains. Best wishes-I still love watching those “Colombo’ detective retakes!!

hey granny - I love drop shots.
as for the URL I will admit I had problems at first as well but then I realized that when I click on the photo I want and then click ONCE on the blog button on the right it brings me to the new page with the htmls. I then click ONLY ONCE right in the center on the first html code and it with turn blue. ONLY CLICK ONCE. The entire thing is now highlighted. Now all you have to do is right click and then click on copy OR hold down the control key and type "c". you have now copied the whole html.

I find that blogger gets pissy about the video html and says that the html is not closed when I publish. But they are wrong. Check the little box after the warning message they pop up and then publish again and it will publish perfectly.
Enjoy!!!!

I anxiously await returning to a faster Internet connection so I can again view slides and videos!

(It has taken 3 minutes just to download the "Visual Verification" so I can post this comment).

Well done on posting the videos, Ann.
Hope you are well, and enjoying the summer.
Nice to see you have access to a pool to cool down.
Oh, yeah ... I have been working on the blogger CD I have been putting together, and noticed I don't have your postal address. If you still want a copy, please email it to me ... thanks.
Take care, Meow
