I just talked to my son.
Zachary (Jim forgot to tell me his middle name) was born about an hour ago. Weighed in at 9 lbs, 1 oz. (about 4.17 kilograms). That's a big baby.
Melissa doing fine but I imagine she's exhausted. Hope to have pictures in the next couple of days.

Good Afternoon Granny,
Congratulations on the birth of your grandson. He is a big baby. Mine was 7 pounds 6 ounces and the other was 8 pounds 3 ounces. They were both delivered by C-section tho. I am glad everyone is doing fine. Can't wait to see the pictures. Just thought I would stop in and say hi and to congratulate you. Take care and have a good Thursday. Don't spoil that new grandson now okay? LOL.

In 1994....(Hard to believe that is ALMOST 13 years ago now....Oh My Lordy---How is that possible???)..When I first saw this wonderfully talented young women....I knew I was seeing someone quite extraoridinary...it was "CAROUSEL"...Lincoln Center, NYC....AMAZING Production...And SHE was memorable, memorable MEMORABLE, and the TONY VOTERS thougt so too, and rightfully so. So I can see why all of you there in Merced and Fresno would feel such pride in this beautiful young women with such a special unique talent!
