Close calls

After L's last comment, I got to thinking about what she and I both said about close calls. Anybody remember the old "urban legend" about the Hook? I think we may each have had our own personal experience with it. Cheery thought to sleep on.

Re: your question about printing a degree mark [the little circle at top right of numerals]. I asked my Wild Child who knows a computer nerd in Dallas, she IMd him and emailed me. So now to you:

I have Windows 2000 so don't know enough about computers, etc. to know if it's the same on all. BUT>>

On your screen when your computer first comes on,
click on to START
scroll up to and click on PROGRAMS
click on ACCESSORIES
click on to SYSTEMS TOOLS
click on to CHARACTER MAP

A big square with all sorts of characters pops up. On mine the degree symbol was on the 11th square across, 6th down.
Now I have no idea how you get it from there to your text but maybe you can make heads or tails of the instructions at bottom.
Patrick told Wild Child that he didn't know of cents mark...he thinks computers just use decimals.Hope this helps. If you can't get it from the square to text, let me know and I'll give you Patrick's email or IM so you can get directions directly instead of through 3rd parties.
Luck!!
