I Almost Forgot

My youngest son and I have a running joke about his birthday. If I get the year right, I forget the day. If I get the day right, I try to make him a year younger.

November 22, 1972. I think. No, I'm sure - I was there.

Happy Birthday to Timothy. He was born the day before Thanksgiving, weighing in at a huge 2 lbs. 15 oz. (1.32 kilograms). If you haven't seen his pictures scattered around the blog, he's now around 6' (1.83 meters) and right at 200 lbs. (90 kilograms?)

Obviously he grew but we had a couple of scary days when he first arrived.

Love you sweetie. I know you hate it when I say you'll always be my baby but you'll always be my baby.

Love you mom, and I am pretty ok with being your baby. At 35 I think my ego can handle it.

Good Evening Granny,
I am sitting here stuffed to the gill. LOL. We had a good time today with my parents and sister. We decided today that we will have Christmas at our house this year on Christmas Eve. We put our tree up this evening. The girls always enjoy doing this with their daddy. I unpack the decorations and lights and they all put them on the tree. Hubby took some pictures of the tree tonight, so I may post some in the next few days. It was a mostly cloudy and cold and a little windy today. The sun did come out about 4:30p.m. or so. It is 36 degrees as I'm typing this now. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" to your son Timothy. I hope he had a great day. Well, I'm going to go. I am tired and I think I may go to bed in a bet. Hope yall had a great Thanksgiving today. May God Bless You and Yours.

Hugs,
Karen H.

Your baby Timothy grew 198 pounds but he'll always be your baby! Happy birthday Tim... and don't forget your mom went through a lot for you to be here and loves you every day.

I sound like a carping old uncle! But sons and moms really are special.

Of course he'll always be your baby! I'm so glad you were at his birth...it helps, doesn't it?

Happy Birthday Tim, even if it is a couple of days late.

Only the greatest of Mom's never forget their "babies." My younger (and Mom's last) brother passed away a few months ago.

As I was helping Mom back to the car after the graveside service, she turned to me and said "Well Dan, you're my baby now." (I'm next youngest) Happy Birthday Timothy, and keep an eye on the old girl.:) She's priceless!!

When do we stop being scared by what our kids do or don't do? Never.

That said? Happy Birthday, Tim.

Tell your baby Happy Birthday from me too!! My "knee baby" (know what that is?) has a birthday today. He weighed in at 9 pounds way back in 1961.

Happy Birthday Tim! My first born has his birthday on the 28th of November. A good month I think.

Hi Granny, long time no post. I hope you are ok. Maybe just busy?

Belated Birthday greetings to your son.

Thank you for the compliment on my 10 randoms. I think that you and I were a little friskier than the Old Woman was in younger years, but make no mistake, she has her earthy side too. One thing about it. The Old Woman is never judgemental - she just says "different strokes for different folks". I figured you would understand a lot.

Lol, Lol....There was a famous "sketch" by Nichols and May bavk in the '50's...A mother/Son Sketch, and THAT line was one of the key funny's in the sketch....She finally says something to him like..: "When you are 80 you will satill be my baby...." And that is the truth!

Your son was a tuny little guy at birth....You must have had some Very Very Scary moments, my dear....
Bless him on his Birthday....! It sounds like he recovered beautifully and has grown into a fantastic man!
CONGRATULATIONS!
