Before I tackle the egg dyeing photos, does anyone know what this is? It looks like some kind of lily and it's growing wild along the side of my house. Trust me, I didn't plant it - nothing lives that I plant.
It's pretty, whatever it is.

Life in transition with Ray but without Rochelle, Rebecca, and Elcie. The blog title is taken from the girls' names but "roc" and "rebel" works for me too.

It`s a calla lily. They also come in different colors, but white ones grow all over the place here.
Perfect! Happy Easter!
Thanks L. I'm the world's worst on varieties of flowers. At least I knew it was a lily. As you say perfect for Easter.
Awwwwwwwww...........I love Calla Lily's you're soooo lucky Granny! Happy Easter. I just planted eggs all over my house. DJ's a pro now, i'm sure he'll find all 18. i'll keep you posted!
You came in the back door, so you didn't see 'em, but we have the damn things invading all over the front of the house. They're poisonous too, I'm told.
It's beautiful! I knew it was some kind of lily, but didn't know which kind.
Happy Easter!
I just planted some of those the other day. I don't believe the flowers are poisonous, but the rhizomes (the root, like a bulb, what it grows from) are.
