Joke Time

I spotted several familiar names and faces over at Merle's but there may still be some who haven't seen this one.

Regular post follows.

<><><> Exercise for Seniors <><><>

Begin by standing on a comfortable surface, where you

have plenty of room at each side.

With a 5 kg (10lb) potato sack in each hand, extend your

arms straight out from your sides and hold them there

as long as you can. Try to hold for a full minute, then

relax. Each day, you’ll find that you can hold this position

for just a bit longer.

<><><><>

After a couple of weeks, move up to a 10 kg (20lb) sack.

Then 50 kg (100 lb) potato sacks and eventually try to lift

a 100 kg (200lb).

<><><><>

After you feel confident at that level, put a potato in each

of the sacks; but be careful.

Ha!

I liked that.

Hey Granny Ann. Sorry, I've been writing up bits of my story instead of Blogging for the past few days, but I'm alive and kicking and back in action for the time being now.

Miss me?

;-)

Good luck finding shoes for Elcie (mun hated that part of back to school shopping), hope you and those around you survive the moving of cats from one place to another (not worried about the cats. More worried about human limbs), pass on sympathy to Rebecca with her injuries, love to all and *hugs* for you.

I just love Merle and her jokes...she made my sister laugh with the spaghetti joke...she said it was better than therapy!!!
A good belly laugh or a smile is always a good thang!!
:-D

It makes for a better day when you start it out with a good belly laugh, so thanks for the joke...It's one I can remember and I'll be spreading it around today amongst the people without computers.

I copied that to an e-mail for my friend who does catering. She will love it, as I did. I have no blog - but enjoy lurking @ yours. Certainly admire what you are doing keeping up with your loved ones. I am yet another grandma, but lack your energy level. (Darn it!)

Very funny....and I, somehow, had missed that at Merle's, although I visit her site often!

Hope you're having a good day, Ann.

Thanks for the comment. Some blogs won't allow anonymous comments (I do so far) so you might think about setting up a blogger name even if you don't have a blog.

That was great. I needed the laugh today. I thought it was serious at first and was feeling rather inadequate thinking there is no way I could hold 2 20lb bags like that for a minute, never mind the higher weights. I can't wait to share this one.

Thats funny. I'll have to email it to a few people.

That's just about my speed. Thanks for the laugh!
